hello again! i've updated the skin a bit, though i don't really think it's anything major. i've also added a new, alternate, light skin for those who want it. besides that, i plan on adding a few contests once some more members join. enjoy!

opening day
welcome to the new and improved song of the century! if you are from the old version, click here! if not, then you really don't have to. there isn't really all that much news, but we are open, and i can't wait 'til things get rolling again! so, happy roleplaying! c:
claim everything you need here. first come, first serve. also post in some of the lists we have to keep track of everything -- if they apply to your character, that is.
oh, those lovely cellular devices! texting is all the rage nowadays, but, of course, there are the calls, voice messages, contact lists, etc., too. have fun.
blogs. they're like journals, except they're online. record your thoughts on things, post about how your day went, etc. one thread per character, and please try not to be too melancholy in every post!
every place has their own heap of rumors, and every person has at least one secret to share. spread the gossip here! (post as a guest if you don't want people to know who spread it.)
the lounge is a small room filled with a couch, table, and two vending machines. half of one wall is completely glass so you can watch people ride their horses and take lessons inside the indoor arena, which is directly in front of the lounge. a door on the wall opposite from the entrance leads to the stables.
the stables are lined with stalls, most of them filled with horses. the floor is always dusty, despite the stable hands' efforts to keep it clean, and all the way down the hall, there is the tack and feed room, as well as a bathroom.
the indoor arena is quite large, well-lit, and overall a great place to ride. lessons, shows, training, and normal rides can take place here. there's a large gate in the middle that can be shut to divide the arena in half for whatever reason.
if you'd like to ride outside, the outdoor arena is a great place to do so. it's even bigger than the indoor arena and it has a few props set up for you to play with while riding (jumps, barrels, etc.). you can see some of the trails and pastures from here, as well as the road a mile or so away. lessons, shows, training, and normal rides take place here, too!
round-pens are small areas of circle-shaped fence used for training and ground work. it's best you just lunge the horse unless you're with a trainer or know what you're doing, though.
horses can be turned out in the pasture when the weather is decent so they can run, play, and graze. there are three pastures: mares and foals, mares and geldings, and stallions.
a good amount of riverglass ranch is made up of forest, and in that forest there are all different kinds of trails. some of them are natural, and some of the ones closer to the barn are man-made. if you don't get lost, you can have a lot of fun riding on them!
winding around and away from the ranch are streets, of course. (how else would people and horses get here?) there aren't that many cars that come around the place, though, so, most of the time, the roads are empty. some people like taking walks down the streets with their horses.

most of everyone has a house to live in (or a house to share with someone else). here they all are, scattered through town and varying in size and decoration.
if you want to show off your latest work, fill out requests for other members, or something like that, then come on and make your graphic studio thread!
if you're taking a break from the computer for awhile, please post here so we know not to think you've died and delete your account. please post when you come back, too. thank you!
advertisements go here. this board is guest friendly, of course. first-time posts will be locked once linked-back to.
post first-time twice; we will link-back twice. please put [lb] in your title if it's a link-back or we will link back again. finally, please use common sense. thanks (:
